Fureidis, arab village in the center of Israel

A sunny day in Fureidis, an arab village just next to the israeli village Kerem Maharal. Nothing hostile, just welcoming and curious faces everywhere. "For the two of us, it's so easy to make peace and be friends", a man says, putting his arm around my brother-in-laws shoulder. " But there are still to many who don't want peace at all." Sometimes life is so easy, as in that moment, when the kids are playing soccer, that global game that somehow unites the whole world. And there's always a glimpse of hope in these moments, when life seems to be just so simple and beautiful.
