Caixinhas, Portugal

Caixinhas is a small town on the nothern coast of Portugal..little has changed here in the last years, the small fishing boats still leave at 4am in the morning, but there's few left to fish. Six days a week the fishers' wifes wait at the beach for their husbands to return from the sea, to pick the small number of sardinhas out of the net in order to sell it on the local market.
